The Great Pyrenees is territorial and will do just about anything to protect its family. The Great Pyrenees is a very kind, loyal, smart and caring dog. They do ok with children but tend to not be as kind to strangers. They get along well with cats and should avoid same sex dogs. The Great Pyrenees is not the easiest breed to train. They also tend to bark a lot.
